omg pls its 3am in the morning and i still cannot deal with the fact that i took a picture with jack dunn (and some of the other academy players) and that i’ve seen them play live twice. also, they will be going back to liverpool later tonight like noooooo please don’t go can all of you stay here forever
Man, our LFC U19 lost to Sporting Lisbon U19 in the NexLions Cup Final today and while Sporting Lisbon were pretty great, we didn’t deserve to lose. A draw would have been the fairer result. So gutted for the lads and when Sporting scored their 2nd goal right towards the end of the game, Morgo’s reaction was :’((((((
Regardless, I’m really proud of our boys. It was tough playing in Singapore for sure with the heat and humidity. They tried their best. And considering the fact that Jerome Sinclair was injured, and then Samed Yesil, we only had 1 recognized striker in Morgo (sounds familiar eh, first team cough). And then Brad Smith injured himself in the warm up :’(((((((((((((((((( BRAD :’(((((((((((( So we essentially only had 3 subs including the goalkeeper ugh I’m still upset over our loss but well
Still, it was great watching the lads play live TWICE! After consistently watching them on LFCTV, to watch them play irl is so surreal. Did I also mention that I have photos with some of them (who I met in the hotel). Especially Jordan Lussey and Jack Dunn!!!!!!!!!!11111111 MY 2 FAVOURITES. Everyone were crazy for Morgo and Kris though… And I also got to keep one of Jordan’s shinguard! Even though it was all sweaty but well… YOU GET MY POINT. LUCKY OR WHAT!!!
CAN I ALSO TALK ABOUT RODOLFO BORRELL OH MY GOD. THANK YOU RAFA FOR BRINGING RODOLFO TO LFC. OUR ACADEMY WOULDN’T BE WHERE IT IS WITHOUT HIM. AND RODOLFO IS SO CHARMING LIKE I DON’T EVEN. IT WAS SO GREAT TALKING TO HIM AT THE HOTEL. I EVEN GOT A PICTURE WITH HIM AND AN AUTOGRAPH. SO MUCH RESPECT. AFTER THE MATCH, HE REMEMBERED US AND CAME OVER TO TALK TO US AGAIN WAHAHAHA. HE ALSO COULDN’T STOP WINKING AT US ;) AHHHH HE’S SO CHARMING AND I’M SO GLAD I GOT THE CHANCE TO THANK HIM IN PERSON FOR COMING TO LFC AND DOING WONDERS WITH OUR ACADEMY. AND HE ALSO SAID THAT HE STILL KEEPS IN TOUCH WITH RAFA LIKE PLEASE I AM GOING TO CRY TEARS OF BLOOD ;___;

Ahhh, ok wtf this post wasn’t supposed to be this long. In short, the past 3 days have been so great and I’m so sad that they are going back tomorrow. :< One more day of seeing them and hopefully, getting more pictures and it is goodbye… ugh man.
