By winning Wimbledon last Sunday Federer equalled Pete Sampras’ all time record of 286 weeks in the top spot, but today he reigns as the player with the greatest number of weeks at World No. 1 ever. History has been made, records have been broken, one man stands above them all. Congratulations Roger.

Roger Federer wins his record 6th ATP World Tour Finals Title defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3 6-7(6) 6-3. He has become the first player to win the title 6 times, just played his 100th career final and won his 70th career title! Federer is undefeated since the US Open and he will now return back to World Number 3! Congratulations Roger!
